Space Y has recently joined the EU Space Networks as an EU Space Ambassador, opening up new opportunities to connect our members with a wider European community of companies, universities, research centres, public authorities and other organisations active across the space ecosystem.
Bringing together more than 300 members from 59 countries, the EU Space Networks are designed to promote the use of space data, foster scientific and business partnerships, and support the uptake of EU Space Programme data and services, including Copernicus, Galileo, EGNOS, IRIS² and SSA/STM.
For Space Y, joining this community is a natural extension of our mission to strengthen the European downstream space sector and accelerate the uptake of space-based solutions.
Being part of the Networks will help us build new connections, identify opportunities for cooperation, exchange knowledge and good practices, and create stronger links between our members and potential partners and users across Europe.
This is particularly important for Space Y. Turning Europe’s space capabilities into tangible benefits requires close interaction between industry, research organisations, institutions and users, so that operational needs are better understood and relevant solutions can be more widely adopted.
As an EU Space Ambassador, Space Y will also contribute actively to promoting the EU Space Programme, encouraging the use of its data and services, and helping bring space-based solutions closer to potential users through its outreach and community activities. Through this role, Space Y will be able both to bring the experience and expertise of its members to a broader European community and to create new opportunities for exchange and collaboration across the EU space ecosystem.
