Space Y at the Munich Space Summit 2026

From 23 to 27 March 2026, the Munich Space Summit will bring together the communities of the former Munich Satellite Navigation Summit and Munich New Space Summit into a single platform for dialogue across the European and international space ecosystem.

The week-long event combines discussions on entrepreneurship, investment and launch capabilities with strategic exchanges on satellite navigation, resilience and security.

Space Y will contribute to the New Space segment of the programme on Day 2, dedicated to “New Space – Innovation, Launchers & Business”. Space Y President, Daniela Genta, will join the New Space Session 7, “Applications & Services Enabled by Mega Constellations”, moderated by Daniela Dobreva‑Nielsen (bavAIRia e.V.), alongside representatives from industry and service providers across the downstream and upstream value chain.

The session will explore how large satellite constellations are shaping applications and services, from Earth observation to connectivity and analytics. These developments are attracting significant attention in a rapidly evolving sector where interoperability, sustainability and strategic access are increasingly pertinent for European downstream companies.

Space Y looks forward to engaging with partners and stakeholders at the Summit and to bringing insights from the downstream community into discussions aimed at putting innovation at the service of European competitiveness and strategic interests.
