Space Y will take part in the European Space Conference, organised on 27–28 January in Brussels, joining representatives of the European space industry, EU institutions, policy-makers and national agencies at a key moment for the future of the sector.
The Conference provides a high-level forum to discuss the strategic priorities that will shape Europe’s space ambitions in the coming decade. Against the backdrop of recent ESA Ministerial Council outcomes, ongoing negotiations on the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework, and the development of the future EU Space Programme, Space Y looks forward to engaging in discussions on competitiveness, innovation and Europe’s role in global space partnerships.
Participating in these exchanges is an important opportunity for Space Y to contribute its perspective on the evolving needs of the space ecosystem and the role of downstream activities in driving impact.
Space Y will also contribute to the General Assembly of SPACE4GEO, the Large-scale Skills Partnership for the downstream space sector under the European Commission’s Pact for Skills. The Assembly will take place on 28 January as a side event of the Conference, focusing on skills development and talent for space data, services and applications.
As part of the General Assembly, Space Y will contribute to the panel discussion “Closing the skills gap: which actions for a skilled workforce and how to attract and retain talents?”, sharing its perspective on strengthening skills, addressing workforce needs, and supporting the long-term sustainability of Europe’s downstream space sector.
We look forward to connecting with stakeholders and partners in Brussels. If you will be attending the Conference or would like to learn more about our activities, we invite you to get in touch and explore opportunities for collaboration.
