EUSPA announced the dates of the recurring User Consultation Platform, this year taking place on 4 – 5 December both online and in Prague.
On the 4th of December, the User Consultation Platform (UCP) will gather business and industry leaders, entrepreneurs, service providers, innovators and space user communities to express their needs, share best practices and present case studies.
The event will explore user needs in a range of domains of application of the EU Space Programme, including GNSS, Earth observation and Secure SATCOM, with dedicated sessions on the following topics:
- Food security and nature credits
- Rail
- Cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM)
- GNSS receivers onboard space assets
- Public transport
- EU border and internal security
The results of the sessions will be presented on the second day, the 5th of December, prior to the launch of the EU Space Downstream Day, which will present the R&D opportunities made available by EUSPA for the downstream industry, including Horizon Europe calls and the Fundamental Elements programme.
Moreover, participants will have the chance to meet manufacturers of receivers, application developers, and end users demonstrating the added-value of Galileo and its new services.
