Welcome to our new Secretary

Space Y is glad to announce the nomination of María Eva Ramírez Rodríguez, from INECO, as the new Secretary of Space Y. Ms Ramírez was appointed on the 3rd of December during our General Assembly, held in Prague following the Annual Meeting of Space Y with EUSPA. She succeeds Roberto Capua from Sogei, to whom we express our sincere gratitude for his many years of dedicated and competent service.

Ms Ramírez brings nearly two decades of experience in European space initiatives, with a strong background in coordination, project management and support to space-related projects. Her deep understanding of the sector and her organisational skills make her ideally suited to support the work of the Secretariat.

At INECO, where she serves as Space Programmes Consultant and Senior Project Manager within the Aerospace Systems Subdirectorate, Ms Ramírez supports the Directorate of Users, Services and Applications of the Spanish Space Agency. Her work focuses on downstream markets, space-data solutions and user needs, while also contributing to projects that apply satellite data and navigation signals to transport and critical infrastructure. INECO’s close collaboration with users to capitalise on space data and signals to improve public services reflects both the mission and objectives of Space Y.

We are pleased to welcome Ms Ramírez as our new Secretary. Her expertise, commitment and service-oriented mindset will undoubtedly strengthen the activities of Space Y and support the Association’s continued growth.
