Registrations open for the EUSPA User Consultation Platform

4–5 December, Prague and Online.

Registrations are now open for the 2025 edition of the User Consultation Platform (UCP), organised by EUSPA as a systematic consultation that brings together representatives from businesses, industry, and service providers with user communities of the EU Space Programme.

This year, on the 5th of December, the event will also host the Space Downstream Day, where Space Y will contribute to the first session dedicated to presenting the results of the User Consultation Platform.

The User Consultation Platform (UCP) aims to understand the needs of those using signals, data, and services from the EU Space Programme across six main sectors:

  • Food Security and Nature Credits
  • Rail
  • Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility
  • Public Transport
  • EU Border and Internal Security
  • GNSS Receivers Onboard Space Assets and SST

Rodrigo da Costa, EUSPA’s Executive Director, and Giuseppe Ottavianelli, Head of the Applications Section at the European Space Agency, will open two days dedicated to exploring the concrete possibilities and applications of the EU Space Programme.

On the first day, participants will have the opportunity to engage in thematic sessions showcasing best practices and real-world use cases.

On 5 December, the focus will shift to the Space Downstream Day, dedicated to presenting R&D opportunities offered by EUSPA to support the downstream space industry. These include ongoing initiatives such as the EUSPA Horizon Europe calls and the Fundamental Elements programme, as well as new opportunities like the Make It with Space procurement and COSMOS4HE.

On the eve of the event, Space Y members will gather for their Annual Meeting with EUSPA. Stay tuned for further updates!
